EwingCole Hires Regional Director

EwingCole is pleased to announce that Michael Rantilla, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as the regional director of the Raleigh office. Rantilla’s primary responsibilities will be to help execute the business plan; oversee productivity; drive growth; and implement new directives for quality control and design excellence.

With over 20 years of professional experience in delivering award-winning cultural, commercial, and education projects, Mike was both operations director and then technical director at Perkins+Will and an associate principal at Freelon. His previous clients include The Smithsonian Institution, DC Public Library, Durham County Libraries, North Carolina A&T University, University of North Carolina, and Wake Forest University.

Mike graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor of architecture and has lived and worked in Michigan, New York, Paris, and Sao Paulo prior to moving to North Carolina.  He is an active member in the American Institute of Architects and a LEED accredited professional.
