The Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, a renowned institution dedicated to the study of natural history and cultural heritage, sought to revitalize its public galleries to enhance visitor engagement and modernize its displays. Working closely with exhibit designers Reich and Petch, EwingCole served as the electrical engineer for the exhibit scope, ensuring seamless integration of audiovisual and lighting elements across three floors of public space. Our collaboration involved precise coordination with the base building team to align power requirements and design elements, resulting in a reimagined museum experience that stimulates curiosity and invites exploration. The renewed galleries now offer visitors a dynamic, immersive journey through the museum’s vast collections, fostering deeper connections and inspiring discovery.
