Brown Family Locker Room

New Brunswick, NJ

Rutgers University, home to the nation’s first-ever intercollegiate football game, decided the time was right for the Scarlet Knights to have a locker room worthy of a Division I football team. The goal was to create a space that fostered pride, camaraderie, and excellence. The 6,000 square-foot renovation creates a modern, upscale experience that communicates the team’s culture and values. The fully redesigned space includes 122 custom, illuminated lockers, a 10-foot ‘R’ logo backdropped by an illuminated, perforated metal ceiling, and 24 state-of-the-art video screens. A barber chair area, complete with custom stainless steel and leather, also showcases a bubble wall water feature.
