Their mission is to provide quality pediatric services in a caring, progressive environment. The new, 135,000 sf addition offers a new look to the campus. The main entrance is now through the tower, offering increased security and more efficient check-in processes. A unique aspect of the main lobby is the installation of a hot air balloon mosaic that is comprised of 180,000 individual marbles installed in a series of 200 pound panels. The floors are a neutral cream and gray and include origami in the shapes of boats, butterflies, and swans. These act as wayfinding elements as they lead patients and families to their destinations.
