John is the Director of the Government Practice as well as a principal in the healthcare practice. He is responsible for the development and leadership of a national A/E government practice exclusively focused on U.S. Federal Agencies in addition to sustaining key Mid-Atlantic healthcare clients. He has been recognized for his ability to develop well thought out and detailed execution plans as a component of an overall project delivery and management system focused on high performing multi-disciplinary teams that are set up for success.
John enjoys the entire life cycle of a building linked with his role as our clients trusted advisor, moving thru the steps of planning, design, construction, and post occupancy support while responding to the complexity of today’s and tomorrow’s ever-changing needs.
John has been with EwingCole since 1990, starting as a staff architect, benefiting from the firm’s leadership program; rising to shareholder and serving in the roles of project manager, team leader and Director of Operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Catholic University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Society of American Military Engineers, and the Design Build Institute of America.
