SCA Americas is billion-dollar Swedish-based company offering hygiene products, packaging solutions and publication papers. When SCA decided to relocate to Philadelphia, they wanted a design that exemplifies their commitment to the well-being of their employees. The new Cira Centre office embodies this commitment, from site selection and construction to design and materials, no effort was spared to create a workspace that respects every employee as much as it respects the environment. The LEED-CI Gold, 75,000 sf space utilizes an open workplan concept that encourages communication between staff members and includes design strategies ranging from increased access to daylight, to recycled construction materials, to reduced water usage.
