A wellness-forward welcome center

When Bucknell was looking to unify its health, wellness, and athletic resources, the Kenneth Langone Athletics and Recreation Center, designed by EwingCole, became the ideal site for this addition. The new, two-story building serves as a welcome center and “first stop” for student engagement in wellness initiatives and creates an opportunity for a holistic approach to health and wellness by collocating programs into one centralized facility. The Wrestling Training Center rivals the best in the United States and comprises the entire second floor. It provides a dedicated space for the student athletes and has been crucial to team bonding. The Graham Building is branded with a strong use of the Bison mascot, wrestling logos, and ‘Bucknell Orange and Blue’ colors to strengthen the sense of “belonging.”
