Hialeah Park

Entertainment Facility

Miami, FL

Hialeah Park Race Track is one of the oldest thoroughbred racing facilities in the United States. Originally opened in 1921, it has been hailed as one of the most beautiful racetracks in the world and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 2, 1979. Unfortunately, Hialeah Park closed to the public in 2001. EwingCole prepared a multi-phase comprehensive master plan for the 200-acre site that includes gaming spaces, a hotel, entertainment, and dining amenities.  In addition to these entertainment options, EwingCole designed revitalized racing facilities to provide excellent conditions for the horses, riders, and spectators – which opened in 2009.
