New York Giants Announce Football Operations Facility and Headquarters Expansion

News

East Rutherford, N.J. — July 27, 2026 — The New York Giants today announced plans to expand and transform their team headquarters, anchored by a new and modern football-focused facility designed to elevate player performance, preparation, and recovery.

The project reflects the organization’s continued commitment to investing in a world-class environment that directly supports performance and player well-being. This spring the Giants finished a complete renovation and expansion of their cafeteria.

“This is a significant investment in the future of our football operation,” said Giants President and CEO John Mara. “We believe it is our responsibility to provide our players, coaches, and staff with the resources and environment they need to succeed. As the game continues to evolve, we must continue to evolve with it. This project reflects our commitment to our people and to building a foundation that will support the New York Giants for years to come.”

The Giants have enlisted EwingCole and Natoli Construction Corp. to design and construct a significant expansion of the team’s training headquarters. The project includes approximately 93,500 square feet of new construction and 46,000 square feet of renovations. Together, these enhancements will transform the facility to better serve the evolving needs of players, coaches, and staff. The project is expected to be completed in advance of the 2028 season.

The key enhancements of the new facility include:

  • Expanded locker room spanning more than 6,000 square feet, featuring 100 full-size lockers
  • State-of-the-art weight room with more than 11,000 square feet, including a nutrition bar and cardio mezzanine overlooking the indoor field
  • Advanced sports medicine and rehabilitation space tripling the current footprint
  • Integrated recovery and wellness areas, including hydrotherapy, steam, sauna, red light therapy, cryotherapy, dry float tanks, and hyperbaric chambers.
  • Modernized player and team areas supporting preparation throughout the week

The design reflects the Giants’ identity and legacy while embracing the future of performance-driven sports. Inspired by the strength and energy of the tri-state area, the architecture features bold forms, open sightlines, and shared spaces that promote collaboration and team culture.

“From the outset, our goal was to create a space that reflects who we are as an organization while pushing forward into what’s next”, said Jonathan Tisch, Treasurer of the New York Giants.  “Every design decision was made with purpose—from how players move through the building to how a team connects and collaborates. This is about creating an environment that feels distinctly Giants and gives our players and staff everything they need to succeed.”

The expansion reinforces the organization’s belief that sustained success is built through continuous investment in people, process, and infrastructure.

Located in East Rutherford, N.J., the Quest Diagnostics Training Center will continue to serve as the hub of the Giants’ business and football operations during the renovation and expansion.
