GoldenWolf-EwingCole Joint Venture Awarded New $13M Builder Contract

The agreement authorizes the JV to start on data refresh, I&A work for the Defense Health Agency (DHA)

Lithia, Florida (October 18, 2021) – The GoldenWolf-EwingCole Joint Venture (JV) is pleased to announce a new, two-year task order that allows the JV to provide data refresh, validation, project development, and site level complex inventory and assessment (I&A) for selected Defense Health Agency (DHA) facilities.

GW-EC JV will also update the U.S. Army Medical Research & Development Command (MRDC) and Readiness Asset Inventory to include development of organization structure, validation of AWP with backlog, WI Remediation, and Project Remediation.

“We are proud of the work we’ve already done for DHA and extremely pleased to continue our BUILDER efforts,” says Ryan Bredahl, GoldenWolf’s chief executive officer. “The JV team – from our project managers and subject matter experts right down to our BUILDER techs – is exceptional. They have everything to do with DHA awarding us this additional work.”

Adds President Sabrina Wolfersberger: “Working with the Defense Health Agency over the past few years has been a highly rewarding experience. We are eager to begin this additional work and looking forward to our continued relationship with DHA.”

”Executing this work is extremely important and of high value to DHA and the Department of Defense. At the end of our work, our clients will have clear and detailed understanding of their medical facility portfolio and their capital needs. With this in hand, they will be positioned to allocate the right investments, in the right place for the benefit our servicemen, their families and military retirees.” Says John Capelli, EwingCole’s Director of the Government Practice.

In addition to this work, GoldenWolf currently provides the following services to various federal clients: BUILDER programmatic sustainment, inventory and assessment, database management, data analytics and visualization, customized software solutions, BUILDER training for onsite or remote staff, executive-level strategy and policy development and construction management services.

GoldenWolf holds both a BUILDER Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) and Patent License Agreement (PLA) with the Engineer Research Development Center (ERDC) Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL). The company has supported CERL since 2018 with development, deployment, modernization, and training for the BUILDER SMS and Enterprise Sustainment Management System (ESMS). Additionally, GW developed the Condition Assessment and Requirements Validation Engine (CARVE™) mobile application for BUILDER I&A and sustainment site visits. CARVE ensures efficient onsite data collection using a tablet and facilitates the field team’s ability to accurately collect and upload data to our Microsoft GCC-High environment. Utilizing CARVE as a secure staging area allows for even a more rigorous QC before the data is uploaded to the BUILDER platform.
