IVD GMP Facility

Madison, WI

Promega supports life science advancements by delivering innovative tools to academic, industrial, and government researchers. As the company expanded its diagnostic capabilities, it sought to separate in vitro diagnostics (IVD) from research-use-only (RUO) manufacturing.

To support this strategic shift, Promega partnered on the fit-out of the Feynman Center, a 280,000-square-foot facility designed to accommodate FDA-regulated GMP-manufacturing. The new IVD GMP facility includes specialized infrastructure to support buffer compounding, reagent and protein purification, and quality control functions.

The layout integrates process utility systems and lab-scale production areas, allowing Promega to align with regulatory standards while staying responsive to evolving manufacturing demands. By planning for future capacity, the facility positions Promega to scale innovation and meet global diagnostic needs.
