Bayhealth Medical Center
Four-story addition to the existing 1986 building to provide space for a fifteen cubicle Special Care Nursery, a ten room Labor/Delivery/Recovery suite, a two room C-Section suite, a 26 room post partum nursing unit, On-Call suites, a Perinatology suite, shell space, and mechanical and electrical support space to serve three new floors. EwingCole’s design embodies the Hospital’s “5-Star Service” model by creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for women, with extensive amenities to promote family participation, during all phases of birth-related care, and an efficient workplace for staff.
