McCormick Field has been a cornerstone of baseball in Asheville for over 100 years, serving as the home of the Asheville Tourists and a beloved gathering place for the community. However, after decades without significant upgrades—the last major renovation occurred in 1992—the historic, 4,000-seat ballpark needed a comprehensive modernization to meet current standards and support the franchise’s future.

The transformation will be completed ahead of the 2026 season, cementing McCormick Field’s legacy as a world-class home for minor league baseball and community events for decades to come.
