Daniel Hazell
PE
Principal

Dan is a Principal of Ewingcole who focuses on mechanical design for cGMP facilities, cleanrooms, and laboratories. Since joining the firm in 2012 as a mechanical engineer, he has lead projects mainly in the science and technology practice, including several high containment facilities for the American Type Culture Collection.

Dan approaches each project with a philosophy rooted in precision, performance, and adaptability, understanding that cleanrooms and laboratories must support highly controlled conditions and rigorous operational standards. He designs mechanical systems that are both technically robust and highly responsive to the unique demands of scientific research and manufacturing. He ensures that each solution not only meets current regulatory and functional requirements but can also adapt to evolving technologies and workflows.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Lehigh University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
