Jim is a managing principal and senior vice president at EwingCole. He specializes in research and testing laboratories, manufacturing facilities, pilot plants, clean rooms, and site master planning for a wide range of pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
Jim’s expertise is in the programming, planning, and design of cGMP manufacturing facilities, focusing on cell & gene therapy production and blood processing facilities. He led his team in designing the first FDA approved CAR-T therapy cGMP manufacturing facility and has since developed multiple cell & gene production facilities across the U.S.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and joined EwingCole in 1979.
