As Director of the Healthcare Practice, Andy leads healthcare design research and innovation for the firm. He also leads many of the firm’s most challenging healthcare design projects.
Andy believes imaginative design can elevate the experience of patients and families, enable caregivers to perform their best work, and significantly improve the quality of care. He loves working with health systems to find architectural solutions that depart from traditional norms to achieve their goals. He enjoys solving complex construction puzzles and balancing the demands of program need, design excellence, medical technologies, regulatory compliance, and construction economy.
Andy has served in many roles since joining EwingCole in 1983, including Managing Principal of the New York office, President and CEO. He received his Bachelor of Art and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
