Washington, DC
The National Museum of Natural History is a world-renowned repository of scientific and cultural heritage dedicated to educating the public through research, collections, exhibitions, and outreach programs. This project aimed to transform a building section into an immersive learning center, bringing collections and the scientists who study them directly onto the exhibit floor to engage with visitors. The LEED-Silver certified, 12,000-square-foot Q?rius Learning Center offers hands-on experiences for families and groups, featuring 4,000 handling collection objects in a naturally lit, open space designed for exploration and discovery.
