The Smithsonian Entertainment Nation exhibit is a first-ever permanent exhibition dedicated to the history of American entertainment, showcasing iconic artifacts from the mid-19th century to today. Designed to link unforgettable moments in film, television, music, and theater with pivotal political and cultural events, the exhibit offers visitors an engaging and immersive experience.
Supporting the vision of Reich & Petch Design International, the project included infrastructure planning and installation for the flexible galleries in the museum’s west wing. The black box space features modular power and data systems, streamlining exhibit installation and allowing for seamless reconfiguration to accommodate evolving displays.
