Shawkat is an architect at EwingCole with a focus on the firm’s Science & Technology practice. Since joining the firm in 2006, he has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including major new facilities for industry-leading clients. Known for his technical skill, Shawkat helps guide teams from concept through completion.

With a design philosophy rooted in functionality, Shawkat believes that design should elevate the daily experience. He brings a refined attention to detail to every project.

Shawkat holds a B.Arch from Temple University and is accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the US Green Building Council.
