A principal of the firm, Bob is an architect specializing in master planning and large-scale, complex projects. Since joining EwingCole in 1991, he has contributed his strategic insight and conceptual approach to some of the firm’s most distinctive work, including the development of MetLife Stadium, St Mary’s Medical Center, and Citizens Bank Park. Known for his ability to synthesize program, site, and stakeholder input, Bob guides clients and project teams toward clear, effective design solutions from the earliest stages of a project.

Bob plays a key role in shaping the direction of major initiatives, leading early planning efforts and helping teams navigate critical decisions that influence long-term project success. He works closely with clients and collaborators to develop thoughtful, well-coordinated strategies that respond to complex challenges with clarity and purpose.

Throughout his tenure, Bob has held several leadership roles, including Director of Architecture, where he focused on advancing design quality, strengthening firmwide collaboration, and supporting the development of future leaders. Most recently, Bob served a nine-year term as president, during which he initiated a transformative realignment of the firm’s mission, refocusing its strategic efforts on career opportunities, talent development, and design excellence, enabling the firm to achieve both growth and national recognition.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology, a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
