Joe is a lighting designer at EwingCole whose experience spans multiple practices, which allows him to bring a broad range of aesthetic and technical knowledge to clients and design teams. His philosophy is that beautiful design must also be practical for the environment across the entire life of the building or space.

Since joining the firm in 2020, he has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, education, and science & technology. Known for his holistic approach to design, Joe helps guide clients to inspirational yet energy efficient lighting solutions.

Joe believes that great lighting design elevates the daily experience. His work typically blends art and science, creating environments that are transformative as well as illuminated.

Joe holds a Masters and Bachelors of Architectural Engineering in Lighting/Electrical Design from Penn State University.  He is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and the Illuminating Engineering Society.
