Colleen is a Principal at EwingCole and has led the structural design of the firm’s most prominent healthcare projects over the past decade. She has a passion for the healthcare built environment and understands the critical nature of the finer details which impact those projects, knowing that every component plays a role in a successful project.
As a senior structural engineer, Colleen applies her analytical and design skills in developing the structural systems of buildings. She works diligently in collaboration with contractors, owners, and design team members, through the design and construction process, to develop structural solutions which meet the specific design and economic needs of each project. She acts as the liaison with all parties to ensure the best structural solutions are made.
Colleen holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University. She is a member and was past president of the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers (DVASE); and is a member of the National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA) and the Structural Engineers Association of Pennsylvania (SEAOP).
