John is the Director of the Government Practice as well as a principal in the firm’s healthcare practice. He is responsible for the development and leadership of a national A/E government practice, focused on U.S. Federal Agencies in addition to sustaining key Mid-Atlantic healthcare clients. He has been with EwingCole since 1990, starting as a staff architect, benefiting from the firm’s leadership program; rising to shareholder, previously serving in the roles of project manager, team leader and Director of Operations.
John has been recognized for his ability to develop well thought out execution plans focused on high performing multi-disciplinary teams that are set up for success. He is a hands-on principal for clients and projects across the country. He has cultivated a practice that supports a diversity of client needs – strategic planning, master & facility planning, building design, construction, and post occupancy support while responding to the complexity of today’s and tomorrow’s needs.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Catholic University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Society of American Military Engineers, and the Design Build Institute of America.
