David is a Principal and Director of Mechanical Engineering at EwingCole with a focus on the design of HVAC systems for healthcare facilities. Since joining the firm in 2001, he has provided extensive specialized experience in building system renovations and infrastructure rehabilitation, as well as designs for new large, complex, healthcare institutions. Clients recognize him for innovative and practical solutions in mechanical systems design, often maintaining an operational advisory relationship with him after project completion.
David is an expert in energy efficiency and Life Cycle Cost Analysis through creative HVAC Design and energy modeling. He actively participates in the construction phase, inspecting all work related to mechanical systems and providing commissioning support.
David earned a Master of Science, Mechanical Engineering, from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, from Hofstra University.
