The Hub is a commercial interiors project comprising 15,000 sf of flexible, state of the art conference, training, and event space on the second floor of Philadelphia’s 28-story Cira Centre office building. As the design developed, the owner pushed to integrate environmental leadership into this modern design. EwingCole entered the project to provide expertise, leadership, and experience to overlap quality, cost effective environmental strategy into the project. Beyond just satisfying these core practical demands of a conference facility, the Hub also hopes to incorporate principles of social consciousness and environmental sustainability in its expanding business. EwingCole’s involvement on the team helped facilitate win-win opportunities.
