Ewing Cole

The design for the Kentucky Horse Park Equestrian Stadium features an 8,000 seat stadium and twin hospitality club facilities. The site design has the ability to expand the event to 30,000 seats when the World Equestrian Games arrive in 2010. The design features a permanent side line stadium with the ability to expand the stadium to a full bowl using temporary bleachers. With the addition of the club and banquet facilities, the stadium has the potential to become a major destination during non-equestrian events. EwingCole was the sports / stadium design consultant in association with EOP Architects as architect of record.
