Within its 14,000 S.F. space overlooking Mohegan Sun’s Casino of the Sky, Mark Ottmann worked with Celebrity Chef Jasper White to produce the Summer Shack restaurant with its signature open-kitchen, three level lobster tank, 50 gallon steaming pots, a canopied oyster bar, and multiple dining tiers that accommodate up to 450 people. Since it’s opening in the fall of 2001, it has become one of the most popular and successful restaurants in the casino.
