Ewing Cole

The study considers the conversion of the historic Armory Drill Hall into a new Athletics and Convocation Center. The university has chosen the Armory as the proposed new home for the Drexel Dragons basketball program and has asked EwingCole to design an intimidating and intimate experience, reminiscent of their current gymnasium, while meeting the programmatic expectations of players and patrons for today’s modern entertainment venues. The new athletic and convocation center will also serve as a commencement and concert venue seating up to 5000 people.
