Timothy (Tim) F. Winstead, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as the regional director in Raleigh, North Carolina. Winstead will support EwingCole’s presence in North Carolina and nationally.  His expertise in both the science & technology and academic markets aligns with key practices fueling the firm’s overall growth.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Tim previously worked for the Hillier Group in Princeton, NJ, the Freelon Group in Durham, NC and was most recently a principal at Hanbury in Raleigh.  His previous clients include DuPont Pharmaceutical Company, Duke University, Johnson & Johnson, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Merck, North Carolina State University, Novartis, University of North Carolina, and Yale University.

Tim graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor of architecture and environmental design. He is an active member in the American Institute of Architects and a LEED accredited professional.
